Lucy Teitler is a New York-based playwright, performer and screenwriter. Lucy’s plays have been produced at Ensemble Studio Theatre, Barrington Stage Company, Second Stage Uptown, and elsewhere. Her play “Engagements” has been produced widely and published in pink. Lucy has been a contributing writer at Vice’s tech mag Motherboard, a staff writer on the USA series “Mr. Robot,” and a writer and Co-Executive Producer on the Netflix series “The I-Land.” She is currently a writer and Supervising Producer on the upcoming CBS drama, “Tommy,” starring Edie Falco. Her next play, “Plymouth Rock,” is currently in development with director Will Frears. Lucy is an alumna of the Youngblood playwriting group at Ensemble Studio Theatre. She grew up between New York City and Southern California, and began her career writing and performing sketch comedy.
